International Behavioural Trials Network Conference - Call for Abstracts

A poster session complements the plenary sessions and workshops that make up the IBTN Conference. Poster abstracts will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

The IBTN Conference will be held from May 16 to 18, 2024, and is open to anyone registering to attend. The conference will include a poster session.

Authors whose posters have been selected will be asked to accept and confirm their attendance at the conference (either virtually or in person). Presenting Authors will then be required to register for the conference before the conference registration deadline (April 26, 2024). Accepted Authors may be required provide a video or audio walk through of their poster presentation (no longer than 3 minutes). This recording will act as a guided presentation for attendees to watch or listen to while viewing the poster.

Posters will be available to view on the IBTN website with the option to leave and view comments. Authors attending the conference in person may be asked to present their posters at specific times during the poster session(s). Dates and times to be announced.

IMPORTANT: Presenting Authors are encouraged to immediately inquire about the time required to obtain a visa from their country to travel to Canada, and plan their visa application accordingly.

All abstracts must be presented. If you are not able to attend, a coauthor can present the abstract on your behalf. Prizes will be awarded for the best abstracts submitted by students. If you are a student and the person who presents your abstract is not a student, you will not be eligible for a student award.

Please note that the decision to accept an abstract is based on a peer-review process.

Poster abstract submission deadline - January 26, 2024, 11:59PM Eastern time

Early bird registration period - January 29 to February 23, 2024

Notification for acceptance of poster abstracts - Week of February 19, 2024

Poster abstract author’s deadline for confirmation - March 11, 2024, 11:59PM Eastern time

Deadline to register for the conference - April 26, 2024
